Best Friends Forever

So.. I'm Turner's best friend (As he says) I love being his BFF.  What this means is when he gets up at 6-630 every..every morning, I get to take him potty and play blocks and tunnel making. He SPECIFICALLY tells Daddy he has to stay in bed while he plays with Mommy (me:). Last night we didn't go to bed till 10:00 because we had a fun birthday party, so I thought easily 730 wake up time.

Luckily, BFF also means when he cries in middle of night he only wants his BFF to bring him back to our bed. Last night was the 1st time he let daddy walk him over in about three months..maybe he will be his BFF at those times from now on. :)

Well! Gots to go -BFF is ready for another pillow! I hope we aren't disturbing Daddy with all this fun!

Turner Loves..

Turner was our date to a long time friend's wedding. It was a May wedding, but very cold, so that is why the bride is wearing her fur!

I have known these girls since they were born and used to babysit them a lot! I can't believe they are old enough to get married.

Turner got a little crazy after a few rounds of punch!

It was Teacher Appreciation week. Even though I work at a school...a friend still had to remind me it was this week. Last minute we threw this together as an art project. Turner loves doing art projects! He must get a little artistic side from me. I feel if I don't do something crafty every week or so, I get all fidgety. I wish I felt that way about laundry.

I used scrapbook stickers to make a famous Montessori quote and then after Tman painted it, I peeled the stickers off. So fun and easy! Pinterest would be proud..and I had all the supplies right at home! So Martha Stewart, too.

Turner LOVES to cook with me and he actually listens and follows instructions, so it's fun. We made pizzas for dinner together. Yum! Yum!

We made some lemon bars for the teachers and gave these to them on the second day. I stopped after day two...ran out of creative ideas and things around the house to make. His teachers are very much appreciated!! Turner has learned and grown so much at his school.

Turner loves helping in the yard..I mainly take these pictures to blackmale when he is older when he whines and wants to be lazy about helping in the yard....because we know Addison...Turner will be doing some yardwork...us girls will go paint our nails and lay by the pool! Poor 1st born son.

Loves the new ice cream shop by our house! Tman loves picking out his flavors. His favorite ice cream is strawberry!

Turner and I both love this person! Celebrating mum's day!

Ok...so this was his class picture....if you click you can enlarge it. Please do so. You will see my child glowing ever so brightly with his orange shirt and hair. You would think he was neon almost. So bright!

Didn't buy any pics....but these are his school pics.

Turner LOVES the summer time and outside.

I LOVE this that Turner made me for Mother's Day at school.

Turner also loves gators and chips/hummus!

Turner is just loving life right now! He has grown up so much these past few months. I will say he is for sure more in the 'terrible 3s than the terrible 2s'

Meeting Davis!

Mr. Davis was born on May 1st! IT was such a wonderful day!! BFF has her baby and I find out sex of my baby!

So handsome! He always has his eyes open for me. HE must love his Auntie Katy already.

It was so sweet watching the kiddos watch the nursery and such.

That Saturday we had a meet and greet Davis shower!

Loved decorating for the party!

The hostesses with Marcy and Davis. I really hope I look as good as Marcy does..she just gave birth three days before and she is amazing!

It was such a fun time to celebrate Davis! I love this fam!

The Reveal

As many now know, I am pregnant! We are super excited and it really does fly by more so with the second one! I mean...I didn't even post it on social media until I was 18 weeks...! :) I am already 23 weeks and growing! growing!...and since it is the second one I know what my precious preggo body does and I am so looking forward to that look during summer sun weather....

Aunt Natalie was so sweet and wanted to throw a reveal party to see what Baby Seifritz would be. It was such an exciting day! With a reveal, nobody knew what the sex of the baby was (except the DR and Party City) until that night when everyone was together. It is a memory I will cherish forever!

At the beginning of my pregnancy, I wasn't going to find out what I was having. I thought it would be fun. I didn't really tell people I wanted to do this because I knew I would get talked out of it....well Tman talked me out of it. Two days after I found out I was pregnant and before I told family, his teacher texted me. She wrote" Pardon my question, but are you pregnant? The only reason I am asking is because Turner has been going around all week telling us he's getting a baby sister" From that moment on....Turner KNEW it would be a girl! I was shocked that he was even saying anything because it's not like we sat him down and told him I was pregnant. He just knew.

Before the reveal and the day I found out I was pregnant, this is how I told Addison:

'Bun in the oven!'

(He makes it look like he didn't know it was coming or something)

I wan'ted to do something fun for him because last time I was still in shock and just blurted it out with his back to me when he got home from work. So fun!

Chugging right along.. so blessed I have had the exact type of pregnancy I had with Turner..no morning sickness and healthy baby! I don't really remember January-March because I was so exhausted and slept a lot like I did with Turner, but that's better than sickness I know!  LUCKILY, Turner went through this phase of loving playing pretend like he was putting me to sleep in his bed, reading me books, and letting me 'sleep' and then coming to wake me up. I am thinking...is this kid for real?? So I just played along and layed in his bed and closed my eyes. So nice.

Speeding right along....I started showing WAY, WAY sooner than I did with Turner...so I was a little nervous because I bought my bridesmaid dress the same day I found out I was pregnant and then POOF the belly starts.

This is maybe 10-12 weeks...??

The little feet in the upper right! and the Big Bro left side!

I am never really good at taking belly bump pictures. I think this is now about 21-22 weeks, maybe.

Aunt Nat made the CUTEST invite!! I love it!

So! The big reveal was so fun!! The pictures 'reveal' so much of cuteness Aunt Nat did and sweetness she put into making it extra special for everyone! Shugie was sweet and let us have the fun reveal at her house! I can't wait to show Baby Girl Seifritz the love she already had!

Addison didn't agree with all my answers :)

Cute hostess!

One thing everyone was to wear the color they thought the baby would be! It was fun watching everyone walk in and see what they were thiking.

Turner was so excited about this night! He talked about it forever. I was hoping he didn't think his baby sister was IN the box!

Both teams

Team Pink

Team Blue

It was much anticipation! We had pizza before the reveal and while eating I felt like a kid at Christmas just not able to wait much longer!

Now for the play-by-play reveal:
Natalie wanted to do balloons and I LOVED that and so did Tman!

It's a girl!
I was shocked. I really thought a boy.
It was so fun when the balloons popped open and everyone was cheering and all..such a great memory!

I literally got wrapped up in the baloon excitement and many were shocked I jumped in the air on steps, in wedges, pregnant. :) Just couldn't hold in the excitement!

It's a girl! It's a girl! IT's a girl!

What was so funny is there was no 'surprise' from Turner. He probably didn't understand exactly what was going on..but when we told him he was having a sister..he looked at us like..'yeah...I told you all that'

Aunt Nat made it even more fun and had a drawing! Turner got to pick the gift and that person one a prize!

A friend gave me this superman shirt for Tman. I love it. He will be a wonderful superhero big brother. The diapers and such were such a sweet gesture from all.

It was such a fun evening!
I loved that Natalie took the time to put it all togheter for us. I was so happy Shugie let us reveal at her beautiful home! Like I said before, can't wait to show baby girl Seifritz the love she is already receiving!

Now I know you are thinking....so what's her name???
