Turner and His Toys

We went to a store's Open House and they had Santa as their special guest. Turner was excited about it all until he got there. He then turned shy and only wanted cookies. Ellery had no problem telling Santa what a good girl she is!

When we go home I asked Turner why he was so shy towards Santa. He responded softly, "Because I don't want to tell him what I want. I don't need anything. I have enough toys." Just makes me smile. Such a sweet boy. I think he said that last year, too. (He did get a few toys:).

I had to start getting my Christmas stuff down so I can get it all done before Christmas. Ellery doesn't understand getting all things done in a day right now :). Turner loves gazing at the tree. He gets excitement can day I add ornaments  He softly touches each one. He's only chunked a few things at the tree so far... I know i will walk around the corner one evening and it will be in the floor. Oh well. Always good memories!

Cousin Fun!!!

I can sum it up... Turner loves his cousins. We had such a blast in July! We had our fun beach trip and then when we got back Tman's cousins arrived!!

I love he is now at the age he can stay at Gmama's with the girls without us. He thought t was the coolest thing!

We took the kiddos to the drive-in and it was so fun (minus the gross smoking around us)

Sleepover at Auntie Katy's house!!
We made melted crayon art!

I had a little bday party for Kaitlyn because we wouldn't be there for her birthday. I love spoiling my girls!

Nothing says summer fun then helping with washing the dogs!

Seaside Fun

He was very excited about learning about the beach because that's where we were heading for the 4th of July! This was a momma and Turner trip. With baby girl coming, Daddy had to stay back and save those vacation days. We had a blast with Shugie, the  Unks and Aunts! They were kind enough to let Turner and I (and Ellery!) tag along without a Daddy. I cherished it because now with two kids..I don't see that happening anymore. At this time I was 6 months pregnant, so I also needed help because of that! The weather was wonderful at the beginning and Tuner LOVED, LOVED the beach! It rained the second 1/2 of our trip, but Turner was still on cloud nine because he was surrounded by many people he would love nothing more than be in a house while raining for days!

Buried Unk a 'few' times.

He fell asleep like this and slept almost 2 hours..it was so nice to just sit on the beach while he rested.

He loved being held by his arms and dipping his feet when a wave came up! He wanted to do this many, many times

LOVED seeing the ice cream truck! In Seaside you have to eat your popsicle quick or it will vanish!

Night stroll with Uncle West and Aunt Nat
He loved taking all the chairs and piling them up.

Hard at work!

Taking a snack break after being in the hot sun. He loved getting seashells or what not with the Uncles...the entire trip he pretty much would do whatever they Uncles said and wanted to do EVERYTHING they did. It was really cute watching him. He really looks up to his uncles.

Snack break with Unk! My favorite thing was Turner was taking a walk with Uncle Caul and he said, "Ya know, Turner...I really like you!" Turner looked up at him and bluntly said, "I like Unk." He was stuck to Unk's hip the entire time.

Out on the town!

Waiting at the Red Bar being spoiled

Crazy hair with the Aunts! He REALLY needs to get some boy cousins!

He LOVED playing Jenga with the boys..and he was really good at it! Again, he would copy anything the boys did.
Happy 4th of July!!! I brought a bunch of 4th of July festive wear to party that day! It rained all that day, so the fam was very nice on playing with Turner and wearing their 4th tattoo!

Showing off their guns

On the 4th their was a break in the weather so I took Turner on a 3 hour bike ride. It was such a great time with him! We went and watched the crashing waves and Turner was in aw.

There's usually a parade that we attend in the morning. It was so cute- while we were out that afternoon lines and lines of cars were coming into town for the 4th..Tman thought it was the parade and started waving and talking about the cars. People around joined in and waved at him and such. We went to their park and played many times and he loved it!

Eating his firecracker popsicle in honor of the 4th!

That night we played Monopoly. again, Turner loved it. He was very good at keeping up with the money and actually listened and followed instructions a lot of the time. He just loves being with his family (as you know, he has a pretty awesome family!)

So sad. Turner and I miss out a lot on nighttime fun because of being young and having a child. He was so sad to have to go to bed while they play monopoly, but as we know...this makes for LONG days if they don't go to bed. I am just thankful there was a tv with cable and my phone! Entertainment while he slept.

Styling with Aunt Lillipop!

Poolside fun

We love swimming at Grandmama and Poppa's! I failed again this summer enrolling him in a swim class, BUT he is not afraid of the water and does very well. It's on the list for next summer. IT just seems the times and date is never convenient.

I think Addison has more fun than we do!

Spraying Grandmama!
Racing Uncle Beej

Racing Grandmama- Turner won

Taking a break to pick some carrots from the garden
And it's always good to stay shaded during these hot summer days
