It's THREE Time!

Turner will be turning three at the end of this month. As many mothers say, I can't believe it. I am loving this age and it's beginning to be a little challenging. He's definitely going to have some of the terrible threes more than twos. What I love is the amount of communication he has now. I love just listening to him and talking with him! On the other hand of this...communicating means having more of an opinion. Turner has been in the state of ignoring and throwing some pretty neat tantrums. On a more happy note, he's coming more out of his shell. Now this may sound like another downfall, but not to me. He is showing more confidence and making more effort to talk to people besides me! He still is pretty quiet..I really can't hear him half the time and always have to have him repeat it, but in large groups he is starting to mix and mingle more so and I LOVE it! Addison and I are both pretty outgoing people, so having a shy boy threw me for a loop!

A friend from work had her son's birthday party at The Garden Room. Tman was able to bring his bike and ride it with all the kids! He loved it!

A friend from work gave TMan a Valentine's Day cookie kit from Rick's. We had SO much fun decorating cookies and eating them. It was such a cute idea!

Before - After. I grew his hair out for a bit..he's so much more handsome with short hair!

Valentine's Day! Tman had so much fun passing out his Valentine's and getting them, too! Aunt Nat started a tradition his 1st year with aValentine's Day balloon. He loved it!

Ready to roll!

I love watching TMan play. He is starting to get a great imagination and will play for hours. (Like right now..he's been playing with Color Wonder Markers for the past hour..but not coloring--they are rockets, going to a party..and whatever else pops in his little head!)

First 'snow'! He went outside for a bit but didn't get to play too long! We still haven't had enough to use our sleds we bought two years ago after the BIG Snow.

Tman made his school board! They were learning about music and I offered Tman's bongo that Uncle Aaron gave. I should of had Uncle Beej come and show some real bongo drums, but one bongo drum for 2.5-4 year olds and a Friday were probably enough.

It's so exhausting after a long week. About Thursday is when Tman is done with school and wants a break. He just wants to stay home so badly and play with his toys.

He's been doing a great job of giving two thumbs up and looking like The Fonz

LOVES playing with his baby dolls (Like right now..they are in his room taking a nap in his bed and "Momma, do not go in my room. My babies are sleeping!") Runs a tight ship.

Always smiling! :)
He has no clothes that really fit him. They are either too small or too big right now. He has no butt and short legs--great combo.

Fell alseep while rocking him. LOVE it=especially with him being bigger. He's still a pretty good cuddler, but really miss the rocking to sleep!

Big boy picture!

Taking a little snooze with his best friend!

Daddy has been traveling A LOT lately. It's pretty hard on momma when working 9 hours a day and then getting the tman, so we have many sleepovers in the bed! :) Luckily, Tman transitions nicely back into his bed with Daddy is home.

Celebrated a great birthday part with a friend's daughter from work. ITwas a princess and knight theme--SO FUN and so very cute! Turner had to dress his best and had a blast!

TMan loves to cook with me. Pretty much cooks with me every meal. I love that he enjoys doing this with me.

Had a sleepover at Shugie's and loved playing with his new pizza game with Aunt Lillipop!

The three-year-old thing.
Lately he has been loving to write and when I am writing, he HAS To write...and share my pen. This was a 'turn my head for a second incident.. but to be honest, I have never have had to watch him like hawk (even though I smother him most of the time..I hover. I know I do. He now (being so verbal) tells me to go away when I'm hovering. I will learn. Anyhoo....he decided paper wasn't good enough. That night when I was getting him readyfor bed and lifted his shirt- surprise! This is what I found!

Look...silly boy can't even put his shoes on the correct feet. Nope..can't blame the almost 3 year old..this was Mum. About an hour later of being outside and running around..Addison looks down and says to me, "Katy, do you see a problem?" OOps.

His signature! LIke I said he is loving to write. I can't wait to see what 3-year old world brings to the table!
