My To Do List..

So... I have decided I need to take on a few things in order to fulfill some needs of mine..Since I'm 30 now, I'm making a list of items I am going to start adventuring into. I know you are laughing because I can't handle what I have on my plate now, but I will accomplish these tasks. :) My goal is by the time I'm 40..so I'm being realistic.

They are:

Sewing. I am going to do this. All I want to do is sew pillows.. Buttons.. And possibly some cute things here and there. Do sewing machines have that embroidery thing on it?? If so, I will add to the list.

Knitting.. I tried to tackle this in my early 20s, but my grandma lost patience with me so I didn't finish. I just want to make stocking caps for Turner.. And maybe a scarf or two. It may not be knitting.. It may be crocheting.. So you see I have lots to learn.

Crockpot meals... Seems simple?? Well.. I have attempted and attempted but can't seem to accomplish... I am proud of myself-- Sunday night I throw together a weekly dinner menu to go by each week. So far, I look at it on  the following Saturday to see what we didn't eat.. I always forget about it. I really want to have dinner cooking when I get home..but I'm not home to do it :)..I also have not talked Addison through this list to use when he's looking into dinner. What am I proud of? I made a list.

Now my real to do list should be:
Do laundry
Organize my office
Make appointments
Research
Pick up the house
Clean the garage
....but those are the things that get in my way of my three simple things! Plus, the 'simple three are way more fun!

..All of these new goals came from reading blogs and searching Etsy :). Some other pasttimes I need to not do so much and maybe I'll get the above list done.
:) Onto more important things...

Tman's fall colors...

Football season! Go Hogs! :)

Watching the beautiful sunset

Loving the cool weather!

A few teeth to bite into the halloween candy

Hanging from trees to pick the fall apples!

Running around his favorite tree!..down the hill :)

I SCREAMED when I saw this through my camera! I thought it was a snake! It's  a fake flower piece...

Just love this look..:)

Do you see what we see??

Our daily routine of watching and feeding the deer!

We love this time of year! Turner LOVES being outside and it's the best time of year to enjoy it!

Smiles and Eskimo Kisses

Life is busy! I just realized that Jennifer Aniston is pregnant?! I mean, that's busy.....or I'm in my grownup  world :). Anyways, two of my favorite things this week I want to remember...

1. Marcy and her MOP's group hosted an event where children had their photo ID cards made. Grandmama took Turner & they had a blast. When the policeman asked Turner to smile...This is what he did..
I love it! He also did a great job on his fingerprints. Let's hope this is his last!

2. I've been giving Turner Eskimo kisses lately and he just loves them. He even started to lean in and try to give them to me. He's just precious! I had Addison video because I wanted to remember the eskimo kisses but also how much I love getting him ready for bed.

Life is busy..BUT if I can always remember smiles and eskimo kisses, everything will be ok.

This was when...

17 Months Old!!
What I've been up to this month and can't wait to share it with you!

Entertaining PoPo

Stuffing his face

Celebrated Daddy's Birthday!

We can tell where Turner's looks come from-so adorable!

Helping Daddy open gifts

He was losing focus
Wow! September 3rd and I'm just now updating. I get a little overwhelmed when I get too far behind, so I'll just do it in the quick mode of 'This was when" with the pictures...

We've been busy! Addison started traveling a lot more (at the most perfect time of me going back to school!) and I started my new job. I really love my new position. It was the right move for me right now in my career/life. It is 'busy' because I'm learning so many new things and there are MANY changes happening right now in education, but it will all smooth out. Turner turned 17 months old this week and he's a moving and a shaking! His routine is Monday-Thursday with Grandmama. They are having a lot of fun and she is teaching him so much! On Fridays he attends his school. He has a new teacher and I love her! He does an art project everyday, learns sign language, has a daily lesson during their 'learning time' and simply making friends-yesterday he stopped and waved at each one of them). Between Grandmama and this one Friday, he's having so much fun & learning a lot! It's comforting when I'm away from him. He ignored me for about two weeks when I went back to work, (Broke my heart a bit) but I knew it was because he loved me :)!

His loves right now are:
  • Putting on his own shoes and sometimes picking out his own shoes (even though he really only has two pairs :). He loves feet and shoes...still can't figure this one out.
  • Playing chase
  • Cleaning up after himself (Yes, he really loves staying neat during certain times..not all the time. Believe me, that's why I haven't been on here for awhile!) They did finger painting yesterday and his teacher said he was not sure about it and didn't like it on his fingers. I told her that's how he is with anything we do with his hands...mmm..
  • Growling like a monster (can we say idea for Halloween costume if it sticks??) This is cute except when he wants to do it while I'm trying to focus at the store and everyone is starting at me like what's wrong with that kid.
  • LOVES animals (Not a big surprise!) He's obsessed with our cat. He likes to harass PoPo.
  • Waving at people
  • Blowing the duck call. This is the best thing ever! It's usually are evening entertainment-:)
  • Making piles. He will do this for twenty minutes straight.
  • Picking up rocks (You will see why in a bit) But Uncle Adam taught him this and now he just loves it!
  • Riding the 4-Wheeler (I know...it makes me nervous, but it's not the crazy 'boy' riding. It's very slow..believe me, Addison knows not to go fast)
This was when...
Turner points to the 4-wheeler and Daddy cant' resist to take him on a little ride!
We had a girls' trip to the lake! Marcy and I were excited to have a Mum Free evening! It was a blast with the girls!
Trying to drink wine on the boat..doesn't really work :).
Daddy sent this picture to me while I was away-making a mess..this is where right after he 'calms' down he will point to his hands and wants them to be wiped off.
He was picking a new book for back to school
Trying to make a friend and play with the train at B & N
He was laughing at Uncle Beej exercising running up and down the hill.
Uncle Beej was about to take him up and down the hill. It was hilarious!
Turner was being gross...but then about two seconds later our cat couldn't resist taking a quick pause midair to pounce on Tman's head. Turner looked so shocked and walked around holding his head for a bit. So funny!
Tman was having his morning snack and milk--still a strong routine with him. Milk right when he wakes up! I think we sent this to Daddy when he was away.
Turner was snuggling with Daddy before bed. Belly! Belly!
I came home from work and I gave Tman a piggy back ride. He really thinks it's so fun even if in this picture he looks afraid.
Turner had to have my glass (like always) and lounge while drinking. He always puts his leg over his seat.
Aunt Natalie and I attended the Teacher Fair. She is interning and will be a wonderful teacher!!
He was just relaxing with his cold beverage and a flake of food on his nose!
Daddy and Turner (and PoPo) were walking to the shop. There are many places in our yard where Turner has to hold someone's hand. What's fun is he knows when this is.
I just gave him a bath. He loves squeezing me and laughing into my shoulder right after the bath! It's my favorite time of the day!
He was showing his stuff to the ducks. Grandmama took him after he practiced his duck call to the duck pond.
    Listen to this one Duckies!
Turner felt like he needed to water the deck. (This is also something he loves right now)
He watered the plants for Grandmama. Sometimes Grandmama takes Tman out to her house and I go pick her up after work!
Eating a snack before we leave. The juice box he sucked down in about 10 seconds.
I came home and he showed me how he stacked all these blocks!
I came home and he was exhausted. A full day of hula-hooping!
We FINALLY made it to the Sno-Cone stand for the summer!
He barely shared with me :).
I realized Tman wasn't a little baby anymore. After I fed him his OWN dinner, Addison and I ordered a pizza. We all sat down and I was going to give tman some crust and fruit while we ate our pizza. He was not having that! He BAWLED until I realized he wanted his OWN slice..this was not a kid friendly pizza..whole garlic, sun dried tomatoes, cheese, chicken...he ate almost all of it. I was quickly picking off the garlic! He seems to love spicy foods.
He was playing one of his favorite piano apps on the Ipad.
Again...I was shocked he did that. It made me realize he's growing up!
He was helping Daddy with the fence.
Daddy did an amazing job and it is so great to have this fence! He is loving his rock idea.. Turner really helps.
Tman took more out instead of in
Turner made me realize he is just a boy! HAD to stand on the edge of the stool to make me nervous (I took the picture then taught him not to do that :)
We visited Moppy and Poppy. Turner was impressed with Poppy's tree!
Bride Dannis took Tman on a stroll on the bike! She will be the future Mrs. Aaron Seifritz!
He was trying to get the rocks to grow!
He realized he LOVED getting water
He was telling Uncle Adam and Daddy to hold on a sec..because he wanted to go...
....On a ride with the boys!
Note the HOG quarterback across the street. We are about to walk down and take a picture in front of it!
That's about it for this month! I just had some quiet Mum time, but he's up, it's Saturday and we are going to go PLAY!!!!
