Summer Coming to an End

What we've been up to......

We got to go outside today without being miserable!! This was a free slide given to us! Turner is excited.

Hanging with his Great Grandpa from Kansas City!
Just playing around... At least he was comfortable. A few days ago I bent over and knocked Turner over with my behind because he was following me around a little too close :) ...he loves being with his Mum! We go EVERYWHERE together :) Addison has witnessed how I really try to get him distracted playing with a puzzle or game and  to go do something. Turner looks up, finds me, and then he's off and in seconds attached to my leg! I really don't mind. The chores still get done!
Wedding! We celebrated a good friend's wedding over the weekend. It was a great date night. Turner spent the night with Moppy and Poppy. Turner had a blast!
I have the cutest husband in the world!
LOVES my cup...This is the best cup because he can't pull the straw out of it. Have you noticed how much this boy loves water!?!
He got his inserts. We had to buy two sizes up on his shoes. They are HUGE. He bawled the first time we put them on just because he wasn't sure what was going on. His PT was very impressed by the gains he made just from having better supported shoes. She gave me a gold star for how much I had him wearing his shoes. :) He doesn't have to wear the inserts all the time. With the progress he's making, just around the house or short outings will be enough with him still wearing his New Balances. I bought him some cool socks to wear with the inserts!
I moved out of my classroom! It was a bittersweet moment. Starting anything new can be scary, but I'll be excited once it all starts! I start next Monday. I am cherishing these last few days with Turner. I am starting to get that sad feeling because I see SO much of what he does in a day, and I'm heading to work wondering where the summer went. I truly love going to work and I love my job (Well..my old job..not sure about the new one!), but I do know how much I miss of Tman's day to day actions. Luckily, my mom is watching Turner again this year! She will keep me up to date on it all! He's going to be even MORE fun this year because he's mobile and loves going places. He'll bring new challenges, but I love the time they get to spend together. I know how lucky I am.
Brought the car from outside to inside! He LOVES this. He just goes in and out..pushes it around.I push him around. The best thing!
They didn't have lids for the kid cup of water.....he was not happy about this.
We watched Irish Dancers at the FPL. Turner LOVED it. He got to hang out with his friend Woodrow! We then went to the library part...a sea of children appeared and Turner had a ball! Ran after all the children, giggled, and just chilled with them all. He wanted to be big like them!
This was when the 'sea of children' appeared

Had Shugie's peach cobbler. Yum! Yum!
One of the spoon issues we are having....
"This playing thing takes it out of me!"
We brought a few of his outside toys in due to the heat. This picture mostly shows the books he's playing with..we brought in his outdoor play slide
I think this is the future for us...: I'm starting to get a glimpse of how he'll be!
I do know he's still my sweet boy who gives the best hugs and kisses! I love how he still loves to cuddle with me.

Family Texas Fun!

Turner insisted on being pushed around in the baby doll stroller.
LOVED Kaitlyn's doll house and pink room!

With him being up at 630 it was the perfect weather for him to run around before the sun hit us!
 Yep, 7:00 in the morning..
Watching Bubble Guppies!
Hey, Turner! Mom's trying to take a picture here. Thank you to my sweet girls!

Waiting for Turner to wake up from his nap to sing Happy Birthday. Poor girls...love the Ipad!
Grandmama picture! Tman not behaving. He's easing into that.."Just take the picture..he will never smile or look at the camera"

 I need more ice, Mum!

He really enjoyed the hay ride.

Loves pushing on doors..or gates in this situation. He HAS to be the one to open it or he goes into his whiny mode..This age is frustrating because you are just wanting to prevent something from happening but they throw this fit in about .2 seconds..discussing utensils will be another blog.  MOST of the time I can distract him in about .3 seconds with a song :) or silly face...but lately I've just told him no and he can cry it out. He walks in a circle and cries..then he throws his head on the couch.. I then keep playing or doing whatever we were doing..he finally comes around OR he keeps crying and I have to trick him with what he 'thinks' he wants:). Sometimes it amazes me because we will be in the other room and twenty minutes later he will go back to a room where he wanted something and point. He doesn't give up :)
I'm rockin' out like a rock star with this Barbie guitar!

He's pointing saying that's big! Bass Pro
This was Turner being a true boy... Everyone went to eat Mexican and Turner was suppose to be taking a nap..well he woke up. I fed him..he then proceeded to do this. I was getting on to him (except for having to take the picture :) He then takes a sip of milk and then  looks like he projectile vomited...I started whiping it up..and then I had him take another sip because I was curious. I was right. He was not vomiting. He was thinking it would be fun to spew milk out of his mouth because he did it the second time too.....

 In the princess room
I love visiting my girls! (Jeff and Jennifer, too:)
Kyleigh already asked if I'd bring PoPo next time. I will..and probably leave him as her birthday gift :)!

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn

Birthday Party Day! I loved being at the lake!

When they celebrated Uncle Beej's birthday, Kaitlyn had everyone hide and yell surprise. She wanted the same thing done to her. Jennifer had her go out to the car....
 SHH....
Turner is a little delayed on hiding. :)
 Surprise!! Happy Birthday!!

Listening to us singing...This is why I love these girls. Kaitlyn is five and everyone knows its cake and then presents. We all finished eating so it was on to cake! Turner was..can  you guess?? taking a nap. He really needed one, and I was so happy he fell asleep. She was getting all excited for cake and then presents, BUT she would not start until Turner woke up. I told her she could go ahead and he could sing to her later..she insisted we wait. It was the sweetest thing. Both girls would ask how much longer until Turner woke up..and then we would sit around the cake..and then I finally started making up games. He finally woke up and the party could once again start! Kaitlyn and Kyleigh both just sat and waited..didn't think anything of it..they wanted Turner at the party. LOVE THEM!
Turner got upset during the song, of course :)
ONLY Turner could hear what Kaitlyn wished for
 Digging into the cake!
 Kaitlyn and Kyleigh with Alicia!
I LOVED watching her open her gifts and Kyleigh as well. Too cute!
HAD to go give Turner hugs and kisses for all the cute gifts he got her :)
 She read every card!
 Alicia's cute wrapping!
 Love this...
 Reading her card :)
 Cake! It was VERY yummy!
Happy 6th Birthday to my sweet Kaitlyn!!
Roni gave me this Birthday Girl ribbon for my birthday. I told the girls (since we are BFFs and all) we will pass the Birthday Girl ribbon around to each of us three for as long as we have it! They were excited!..we will see if it happens :)
We then ventured on a hayride! This was Turner's first and he loved it. He just went into his Turner mode..sat still and soaked it all in.

By the way, Jeff's shirt is for the Rangers or something..every picture looks like a huge hand coming after tman!
The crew ready to go!

My stylish duo..they know how to roll on a hayride!
 Water break!
Another successful party!
