Twas the Month of December

This little elf has had a blessed December.

What a fun age for this time of year! I've loved how he is so excited to see the lights every night, turn on our tree, stare at our snowglobes, and most of all, sing Christmas carols! He loves Jingle Bells and will say, "HEY!" without any prompting. So.proud.

Our exciting December began with a train ride!

Breakfast at Airport Cafe

Turner taking silly pictures!
(or..just a regular picture of Mum sipping as much coffee as she can!)

Building away before train ride!

The crew meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus. We had fun singing Christmas carols and looking out the window.

He was not so sure of this skinny Santa..

Hanging with his buddy, Claire and showing her his manger scene

Christmas photo time!

Popo so loved

His Christmas Hooch shirt and waiting on his friends for his Christmas party. He talked about ALL day!

Making Christmas trees with his friends

Loves his buds!

So lucky with these little ones!

I'm very lucky with these little ones, too!

Just picture perfect

SLEEPOVER!! Let's just say this boy gets spoiled!

He had a ball at Uncle Caul and Aunt Lilipop's!

Ice cream!!

Playing with his sweet friend Anna. Giving her a ride on the firetruck

I loved being with the Glee club for their Christmas concert. Very lucky to have heard them sing!

Turner enjoying man time on the mountain with Daddy

Tradition! Visiting Santa. I was SO happy that he was super excited to meet him. He was also excited about showing him his tractor sweater.

He even said hello, Merry Christmas, thank you and gave fist bumps. He even charged forward to see Santa. He then from afar was secretly waving to him outside the fance. He barely will say hello to his own family, BUT Santa- he's BFF!

Christmas lights on the square!!
We ate at Tim's and then enjoyed the lights. It was a perfect night!

Turner INSISTED Aunt Natalie rode the camel with him! I love being an aunt!! And Turner has some fabulous aunts himself! They had a blast way up high in the spirit of Christmas!

Rockin' the Santa hats!

1st Carriage ride with Shugie and the crew! Turner loved it!

I have a dream that one day my family  will be having matching pjs to wear on Christmas day. For now, I am too cheap (They are very expensive!) so I'm going to wait until we are complete and begin the tradtion! Can't wait!! I know Addison is even more excited!!

Nails done with a dear friend to just spend some time together! (ok..that has nothing to do with Turner..but had to share!)

Working on his teacher gifts. He picked the pictures and earrings for each teacher. He KNEW what he wanted to give his teachers! So cute.

Loved getting mail from his cousins

So blessed.
My heart is very heavy like many others on how special it is to be able to post so many wonderful memories and know Turner will be celebrating with all our loved ones at Christmas. After what happened in Newtown, it just makes me hug Turner tighter and count our blessings. My heart goes out to all of those families and pray for them daily.

Not My Gumdrop Buttons!

Turner fell asleep very early tonight...I stayed home ALL day to get as much as I could done. I am so happy to actually blog for a bit! It's been very tough these past few months to get time to blog. I miss it. I updated my iPhone and of course lost a section of my photos...gotta love it. I have pockets of things I want to update on so I don't forget..but usually use my photos to remind me of those moments!

Shugie & Lydia took Turner to his first Broadway musical (of course!), Shrek. It was so fun watching Turner and the show was great! Turner stayed the entire time and enjoyed it. His favorite part was the dragon and he wasn't afraid. He also loved going in the lounge and eating ice cream and chips. I can't wait to take him to more musicals!
Aunt Shannon from work got him the Gingerbread man and he still loves it. He now wants to watch every show with a dragon.

I just love dressing this boy for school! I don't get to do it often since Daddy does most of it in the morning. I laugh because when he started school I said I would place his clothes out each night for the morning..I think that lasted about a week 1/2.

We had a four day run of being sick! It was never going away for this little guy. What I loved was I got to stay home because Addison was out of town so I had to be mom! I did have help from Shugie and Aunt Dannis a few times so I could attend meetings. He is still a pretty sweet patient. We just watched movies and cuddled.

Painted some pictures. We are still wondering if he will be left or right handed. Last night when he was decorating his Christmas tree it was all done with his left..but sometimes it's his right. We shall see!

Had a sucker with Aunt Lydia!

Celebrated Jackson's 5th birthday!! So fun! Turner was sick so he had to skip out.

Grandpa T relaxing. I am LOVING his age right now. He is hilarious. I really think I laughed all weekend. One of my favorite things he says is,"Mommy, I hold you." So sweet. He's really wanting to do everything on his own..I still follow him around because I still can't believe he is at the age to do so much on his own..but he can.

One of his BFFs... Going back to the dragons.. Popo every night has to come into Tman's bedroom and 'get the dragons and ghosts' out according to Turner. I am glad PoPo has a purpose now. Turner loves this dog, which is great. As a mother do you ever just sound pyscho sometimes? (or I guess not as a mother for that matter) Most days I just think I'm always out of pocket, so what's new. Anyways, I emotionally sent an email to my family saying we are getting rid of popo (This was like a year or so ago..I think..I really don't remember days anymore) To make a long story short, Addison couldn't do it (and I told him he was the one who was going to have to take control of this) and now here is PoPo... Loving on Turner! Makes me happy even if I'm pissed at PoPo most days. :)

Chillin' after school

His FIRST Square1ARt. This is a fundraiser schools can do. The student paint something and then it turns into different products. I love it! I know I'm going to sound like one of those moms..but I think it has a touch of the art in Eric Carle books..just saying..:)

His other BFF we are missing!
We can't wait for Hooch to come home for Christmas. He's been getting trained by Poppy. According ot Poppy, he's a really good dog and they don't want to let him go! (BUck in the background --photo bomb!)
Life is just busy and I'm loving watching Tman grow up so quickly!
