My work world...in DC

I love my job! I've had many great opportunities to travel and be a part of many wonderful education opportunities. My work is a part of my family. I am with them sometimes more than my own family. Luckily, they are a great group of people to be with!

Love these girls!

The girls outside Old Ebbitt Grill.
Wonderful food and good company!

Michelle, our principal, is wonderful at organizing wonderful dinners after a hard day at work. We have traditions of taking pictures of our meals (Even when we are home we send them out)
I made sure and shared these pictures with Addison as well.

We did a lot of our sight seeing at night since we were working most of the day.

Trip to Capitol Hill! We met with Congressman Womack about education in middle school. This is something I love to do and was so happy to be a part of it a second time! It's such an honor to be RIGHT there discussing education. He took us on a little tour afterwards to show us the highlights.
Big Lincoln fan! Where his desk was when he was making important decisions :)!
Best view seeing out towards all the monuments!

We felt very patriotic after that, so we stopped for a cool beverage. It was VERY hot there!
Ended the evening eating at The Lincoln. My favorite restaurant!
The entire floor was made out of pennies.
Copper mug!
I will go back just to eat at this restaurant again

Presentation day!

Award time!

Our sightseeing day
Didn't do the best job at this picture..and I'm a dork.

Beautiful memorial! It was breathtaking in person.

I love my principal. She LOVES taking pictures so she literally has our whole trip in pictures! We can't wait to have our slideshow party to see all the pictures (While we eat the crepes I'm going to make). I'll probably be updating this because I KNOW she has some great pictures I want to capture!
It was a great trip and loved the experience!

It was the longest I had been away from Tman.
You can ask my roomate, Katy, I did a wonderful job!
Turner was taken care of and I don't think missed me too much.
