Right Here Waiting

New stages! New stages! Boy, has he become his own. I love it because I have a friend (Hi, Karen & Jevin!!) and he's two weeks older than Tman, so I kind of know 'what's to come' when we talk. He is not wanting any help from me. He thinks he can do things on his own. I 'love' it and thinks it's 'cute'..until it becomes a time where I just want him to get full and be fed or walk without crashing or change him. Oh, changing him.. that's turned a whole new leaf! But, I have some tricks up my sleeve for this one and they are working (most of the time). Then on the flip side he has many times of the 'hold me' throughout the day...so I pick him up and he will 'help' or I will give him a 'task' and he then feels like he's doing something with me. Gotta be two steps ahead of him :)! When I wish he would play on his own while I make his lunch is usually when he is cramming himself between me & the cupboard wanting me to hold him --he also steps on my toes a lot with his shoes on :) ..it really does hurt. ha!

I will say this is one of the more tiring stages lately. I love how he wants to adventure..but for many who know me that makes me nervous and exhausted. I do love watching it all because it usually leads to many smiles and laughs. For example, I just put him down for bed. He insisted he needed to brush his hair while I was rocking him. This was while I read him THE Twinkle, Twinkle Star book. I really thought it was just me singing it (I mean, who doesn't love my singing??) but it really is this particular book. I tried another Twinkle, Twinkle Star book...and he threw it on the ground..wouldn't have it and wanted THE book. His favorite is the page with the big moon made of cheese. He flips right to it and stares and points. I was pretty proud that I really can say he has a favorite book. Anyways, he would NOT let go of his brush...tight grip and a little whine (oh, by the way..new one of those, too. It sounds like a fire truck...funniest thing) and so he has it with him as he is snoozing away and I'll grab it in a bit. I guess his cut at PigTails and CrewCuts made a lasting impression on him.

This is for sure a good time to a fun time! Enjoy pictures!

 Loves the 'zoo'
 Loves playing with Aunt Lydia!
Got some of mum's ice Cream..I've been such a 'cool' mom lately :)
FINALLY having fun with a cupcake at a birthday party. Hayden had the cutest birthday party at Boingo Bounce.

Grandmama sharing her popsicle. He has to do everything himself--see it in this picture!

Why we decided to 'rearrange' the room :).
Loves drinking from my cups! He LOVES, LOVES water!

'Helping' pick up his books and turn on his sound machine before nap. I know it looks like a lot of cords, but they are usually tucked under the bookshelf :) Safety first!
He really loves playing in his room. He will get things off the table (This is where his brush sits..next to his daddy's when he was a baby--so cute!--
Ok..these next two pictures is a story in itself..just too tired to explain it. My girls know I usually have a story to go along with many things..I think Tman is getting that trait ;) (Andrea and Amy-shout out!)

I just love our view! This is the side where the backyard is going..fence going up very soon!
Our usually morning routine. Sit in my lap and feed me cheerios while PoPo finds a way to attach some body part to me. Love my kids! :)
The room arrangement! Turner and I did it without Daddy's help! This was on our 'list' during Father's Day weekend, but on Father's Day it still wasn't done, so I decided to do it while Daddy slept in. Turner helped a lot! I am happy with it!

 My dad, Nanny and Turner
 Us on Father's Day weekend.
He must be eavesdropping  talking about getting a new dog in the near future..:)

Again, a very tiring stage...but a stage with many smiles and giggles. If anything I'll be right here waiting for another group hug with this little guy!
