4th of July

I love how they have a different 4th of July shirt every year!

4th of July in Seaside is so patriotic and festive! We started our day at 745am waiting on the parade. Shugie, Aunt Lydia, Tman, and Daddy strolled to see the big parade. It was hot and took an hour for it to get to us, but it was worth it! I love parades and seeing Turner watch it was really fun!

I carefully watch to see what Daddy puts on and then match Turner..shhhhh...He never has to know ;)

When you wear a Razorback shirt down here..you have many conversations with people :). Addison loved it.
Shugie came to the rescue! I forgot a hat and Shugie let Tman borrow her hat.
Should be in a Seaside magazine.... (in Mum's opinion:)
He pays attention to the air (Seifritz blood through and through!) Anytime there's a bird, plane, or even a kite, he stops and points. He smiles and all! This time it was birds.
Aunt Lydia was a trooper baking in the sun to watch the parade.

It was a very cute parade. Had some dance performances, candy (Which I caught one handed), and many American flags!
He was having enough so we moved on to getting a balloon animal.
Yes, it's brown. yes it's odd looking. What else captures the 4th of July spirit except a brown deer?!?
 Carrying around his pet deer!
I made a fruit pizza with  creative help from Aunt Natalie (giving me the American flag idea) and Aunt Lydia making sure it was all lined up and precise with the real version. July 4th is my Poppa's birthday, so I love celebrating in his honor! We had fun making it and it was delicious!

Getting ready for the night festivities!
We competed to see who could be Statue of Liberty-when I say 'we' I mean Aunt Natalie and myself :) I pull her into my 'fun' games!

Cute Aunt Natalie won!
(Even though I supported the torch)
We then took fun shots with Turner and the cool headbands I bought!
Aunt Dannis and Turner shining red, white and blue!
Poor Aunt Lydia got the brunt of the cute pictures..he realized he had a headband on :)
No more cute pictures.. :)
 Really cute deer....
These next two were taken the night before from the balcony of our house. They were to have a prefireworks show. By the time I changed Turner's diaper, it was over!

This is the area where everyone congregates for plays, movies, bands and such. It's the center/downtown area of Seaside. It's great for kids! Luckily, our friends have done this a time or two and had a blanket saved all day and let us join them because it was busy! We traded headbands, listened to music, ate snow cones, and I bought Tman a very bright glow torch to keep him occupied because I was nervous he wasn't going to make the firework show!
Turner is so patriotic!
Let the show begin! At first Turner whimpered and tried to crawl up my arms, but once there were a few booms and saw everyone else enjoying it...he just loved it! I loved watching him do his 'deep thinking' about it all.
 They played the best music!

I love this picture! It's of all the Aunts, Uncles & Shugie joining in on watching Turner loving the boom, pop, pow!
If you don't pay close attention to detail, Turner had three wardrobe changes throughout the day of the 4th. It was serious business :).
Happy 4th of July!!! It was a very fun and memorable one!
